hi! 🧡

Helena May has firmly established herself as one of the capital’s top vocalists, performing and working alongside some of the industry’s top names. She recently performed on the Let’s Rock The Retro Festival tour as a vocalist for some of pop’s biggest names including Heather Small, Nick Heywood, Toyah, and Kim Appleby, and continues her work alongside bass guru Stefan Redtenbacher (Redtenbacher’s Funkestra), releasing their first album ‘Part of Me’ together mid-2018.

With 11 albums already to RB Funkestra, their latest recording, “Part of Me”, featuring Helena May in what expat Austrian bass player Stefan playfully refers to as "Strudel Funkateers meet bushy-tailed soulstress"!

“Bushy-tailed & blue-eyed energy bundle and pop soulstress meets the Funk! In the footsteps of Jay Kay Jamiroquai conjuring her own stew of Acid Jazz in the now!”
